In this blog I will tell you everything that you need to know when playing Idle Furniture Tycoon. Let's start from the very beginning:

Camera movement

On PC:

• Move the camera by pressing down the left mouse button and dragging the world
• Zoom with the mouse scroll wheel
• You can also move the camera with W/A/S/D or the arrows

On Mobile:

• Move the camera by pressing on the touchscreen and dragging the world
• Zoom by pinching on the screen

Purchasing factories

Once you can move around the world you can start buying factories. When you tap on any of the construction sites a window will pop-up asking you to unlock the specified item, but you should unlock your factories in a specific order. A small van will show up at one construction site, this van indicates the cheapest available factory you can buy. Once you have enough money to unlock a factory, just press the unlock button.

Upgrading furniture

Once you unlocked a factory you can upgrade the produced furniture's quality and the production speed.

Upgrading the item quality will:

• Increase the materials used per second
• Increase the demand for the product
• NOT Increase the amount of items produced per second

Upgrading the production speed will:

• NOT Increase the materials used per second
• NOT Increase the demand for the product
• Increase the amount of items produced per second

Selling Items

The core feature of the game is that you're selling items to earn money, but have you noticed that you can set how much you charge per item?

At the top of the control panel you'll see a bar, which shows you the percentage of production and demand. If the bar isn't fully green, that means you produce more items that you can sell, and you should lower the price of the item, so there'll be more demand for it. If you set the price to too much, the demand for that item and also the income will be zero. Try to set the price so you'll earn the maximum amount possible.

Materials

When you start the game you have four different kind of factories already unlocked. These are your material factories, which are producing the materials that are needed to produce furniture. Every furniture produced will consume materials, based on values decided by each furniture, and it's quality level. 

If your furniture factories consume more materials than the material factories producing, you'll se that the material amounts at the top of your screen will  show a negative income. This is okay until you run out of materials in your storage. Your material amounts can't go below 0, so when you run out of materials your factories will stop producing furniture. You can tell which factories are producing by check whether smoke comes out of the chimneys, or not.

Income multiplier

At the top of your screen you'll see a purple percentage, this is your income multiplier. You start with 100%, and later can start over the game with an increased multiplier. The multiplier effects your income per sold item, and the furniture produced per second.

Idle time

As most of the idle games, this game will also generate you money and materials while the game is closed. When you open the game you'll be welcomed with a dialogue how much materials and money was produced while you were away.

You can get a maximum of 4 hours of income when you're not in the game, but this is only the half of what would you get when you would be in the game. You can also skip 10 minutes of playtime with the skip button. This gives you 100% of the income.
